              Appears to be a very nice jacket, except that the shoulder straps should have tress all around. These are unteroffizier rank with a pip added.

              Maybe this was a hasty wartime promotion to feldwebel but not correct.

                Most likely the straps had the double loop for Anwärter that have just been slipped off by some evil genius.

                            Spot on, Jacques. If it were my jacket, I'd be pretty pipped off.

                            All jokes aside, it's a damned nice fliegerbluse, especially the piped collar. It would be nice to return it to its original rank, although the collar tabs in particular would probably be defaced by pin holes.
