    LW Aircraft Data Plate

I added this onto this thread ( http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...09#post5423409 ) but have not had any response as of yet. Can anyone tell me what these plates came off of?

I collect ID and data plates from Luftwaffe aircraft. With one possible exception, these four (component, operating instruction) plates do not clearly link to any particular type of airplane. The long plate ("Kraftstoff Umpumpen", or fuel pumping) has its own part number on the lower right corner. If I am seeing it correctly, the number begins with 8.87 (or 8-87). If so, that points to this plate being from a Junkers Ju87 dive bomber-gound attack plane. That said, it's not impossible for this style plate to have been used on other types of Junkers (or other builder's) airplanes.

Thank you very much for your help.

And yes, it does read 8-87.7040-0103.
