came to me yesterday, the eagle is zigzag stitched and its really sunken in to the material, you can really see this on the inside. Opinions gladly welcomed. Thanks guys!

Nice use of the selvedge down the center seam. Maybe this will be the first documented use of selvedge on a "fake" after John's comment.

I agree on the replaced eagle. Plus, it is placed too high and off center.

Perhaps it is my eyes, but I don't see any true ghost outline, or fabric distortion, of where another eagle would have been. If I use my imagination, I can see a couple of small points which might indicate previous punctures through the cloth, but they are in areas which would have placed the "original" eagle about an eighth of an inch even higher than where this one is.

What do you think of the selvedge? Has anyone ever seen this on a fake HBT before?

The presented photos don't help us identify where the earlier eagle might have been. HBT usually makes it more different to ID earlier holes.

I also believe replaced. Some of the circled areas may be from former sewing. The attachment thread should match other threads used in the garment's construction.
