Antique mall Luftwaffe insignia finds

My friend Randy Smithhisler and I decided to stop by a local antique mall on Saturday, while walking through we stumbled upon these items in a display case. Besides a super price everything was 15% off that day!

The officers I thought were Luftwaffe flight/para, that is what I figured because everything was Luftwaffe. There was also a single Luft flight officer tab, but it was a single and did not get it, I may go back and get it.

That's what I call a very worthwhile Saturday stroll.

I think the officer boards are more likely to be army cavalry, although Luftwaffe flight/para is not impossible.

Yes I think the officer may be Kavallerie, but they all came together, Yes a very good price plus they had 15% off in that case!

Nice catch! The officer's boards are subdued and therefor indeed technically Heer Cavalry (as opposed to LW = shiny).
However I do own a LW tunic which has these same matt boards on it!
So it was done, making this a LW group! Just not text book. Great score!

I recently owned a Flak Leutnant mantel with subdued artillery boards also.
