      very, very nice stick

Several KG models were used in the Fw190 series. Early 190As used the KG14; later 190As, plus Fs and Gs used the KG13B; and in the final period of the war, the KG13C (shown here) was introduced, being used on 190D-9s. I have seen examples of each KG type marked with the circuit code "V60", which, apparently, remained the same across the 190 series. The KG13C was also used in the He162.

Are there any wartime photos out there showing KGs installed - perhaps a KG13C in a Fw190D-9? Also would enjoy gazing at other survivors.

              Hi SFP54,

good to see some grip sticks here! Here another KG13C - unfortunately in a much worse condition. Probably also from a Fw190. I like the original writing on the top!

              PS Here´s an "A" from a Messerschmitt

Andy, thank you for posting the pic of the 13C.

Jack, thanks for showing those two. The KG13A, which I believe came into use on the Bf (or Me) 109 with the F series, was the KG most often seen on the 109 from then on, throughout the G series. The 109K types (final series) went with the 13C. Earlier 109 Es used variants of the KG12. My understanding is that the most common 109 V-number was 23; i.e., V23.

The 109F used the KG 12A (the same as the Me 109E). The KG13A started in the 109 with the G-1 & G-2. The later versions (G-14, K-4, G-10) always retained the same KG 13A.

                    K-4

I just wanted to add that the Bf 109 K-4 not only used the KG 13A, but also KG 13B and 13C control  sticks (all confirmed by control sticks removed by GIs and still in existence today). The K-4 no longer used the V23 designation for the stick, but a 3-digit V number and in addition had the MK 108 charging button attached to the lower left side of the connection box.
