Medical LW Field Divison Collar Tab

I know that there is nothing in the books about LW Field Division using blue piped tabs, but this one is an oddity.

I like it because it is unique. While there is no way to prove it was WW2 manufactor beyond a shadow of a doubt, I still find it an intriguing addition.

As you can see, the blue outer piping is made from a piece of collar cording from a tuchrock.

The piping has been there for a very long time and the wear seems consistant to that of the tab.

I really like it. I look forward to your comments either way.

Thanks guys!! I got it from a non collector. I love it too... I can only imagine how this looked on a fliegerbluse, with the EM shoulder straps! It bet it looked sharp as hell.
