I would need to see closeups of all the insignia, reverse stitching, etc. But at first glance, both the construction and materials used seem to be a bit odd.

      Best regards,

      Jason

Not correct for a wartime uniform. Perhaps postwar emergency or police service.

Take note of that extreme cut on the bottom pockets, has a pre war appearance.

I have seen that cut of pocket on tunics of several eras (even once on a private purchase LW uniform I believed was real), but on this one, the insignia (and application) don't look right (at least in these photos), the label looks incorrect for a period piece and the cut of the lapels also looks off. Could be wrong, but I would guess mid-50's? Better photos would certainly help.

No self respecting Luftwaffe officer would wear something like this.

To me it could be Bundesluftwaffe ; I've seen such lower pockets on BLw tunics. More probably with a not pointed collar like that.

It's funny how collectors used to strip tunics for their insignia and now the insignia is being put back on to tunics for the new generation of collectors (Both fake and real).

Collar is too narrow for LW tabs and it lacks a slit for the dagger hanger...
Eventough its an old fashioned cut (slanted skirt pockets) it could still be from the 50's...Some civil organization...

Some period tunics too, but on this one it adds a red flag
