        Thanks everyone. i knew the smock at least had to be good. i'll put a "good" eagle on it at some time. i'm thinking it never had one. hard to say.when put by a light, really hard to see any unused stitching holes.

          Nice original smock.
          Lucky for you - a standard, blue-wool eagle is the correct type for this smock.

            what are these usually selling for now days? never see them anymore. bill shea has one now for the first time i can remember in ten years or more. are these more scarce than ss smocks?

              ss smock cost much more as your lw smock,but both are not scare at all.
