    Assmann Gorget Luft Standard Bearer

I hoping to pick this up. I've seen examples here marked with the Assmann 'A' as well as with the name Assmann spelled out.

I don't know enough about these so I'm hoping for some articulate opinion.

Thanx in advance for your comments.

Good to know! Never done business with him. And likely never will!

Assmann made gorgets but they stamped them with their unique A

I'm afraid I agree. Although Assmann did make Standard Bearer gorgets, I've only seen one I though had a good chance to be real. Safer to stick with those from Juncker.

Wanted to thank everyone for the feedback. Bit of a bummer but...

Special thanx to Gian for sending me comparative photos with explanations. It certainly makes a huge difference in the learning process when someone takes the time and effort to show the precise differences between an authentic piece and the one in question. A would-be collector then has clarity on the issue rather than taking a thumbs down on faith.

Very much appreciate everyone's time and comments. My beer budget just sighed in relief.

Yes, I think Assmann full named on these is a problem ..
