LW pith helmet eagle opinion please

Just received a luft pith helmet.Pith and national shield are legits, no worries, I was sure that eagle was as well but in hand I'm not sure anymore.
Swaz pin is broken, it can happen.

What's your opinion please?

Hi Fred,

As I said before, it has a lot of (casting?) flaws and parts of it look like they have melted and the detail is very poor.

I have searched high and low on the forum and cant seem to find any fakes with these type of pins ,i also dont see any cast pits, could it be a well worn rarer type aluminium eagle ? the flaw to the end of swastika is damage , rgds Dave

I also agree, a cast eagle made of some kind of alloy, not aluminum.
