Luftwaffe Album Eagle?

A recent pick-up, so I'm looking for some opinions on this eagle.
Think this might be off a Luftwaffe album cover.

If that's what it is, wondering about its authenticity.
Didn't pay a whole lot for it, so no big loss here.

It's real, although not very rare. Of some note is that the attachment prongs are the same style found on some Cholm shields also intended (IMO) for album covers (but misleadingly sold by some dealers as "issue" pieces, in turn giving rise to the rumour they are just fakes).

I agree with Leroy - a fairly common item. Not sure if yours has lost it's finish or is meant to be a 'subdued' version. Mine posted below for comparison (it has the same prongs on the reverse as yours).
