    Comprehensive Luft Lanyard Article

    Gents,

I will be publishing a comprehensive article on the Luftwaffe Lanyard. It will cover ALL GRADES, it will DISECT each of the various shields (do YOU know how many manufacturers there were?) including the first pattern, show documents, and great photos of them in wear, etc!

It will appear in IMC available at: http://s276159374.e-shop.info/shop/a...n.html?pse=apq

BUT I still need a few things if you can help:

    1) I need the regulations from Luftwaffe Verordungsblatt: LV 36, No. 1447 of 30 Sep 1936 and LV 37, No. 752 of 11 June 1937
    2) I need lanyards grade 4, 8,10,11

With these we are looking at a 60-page special issue dedicated to the lanyards! WIthout them we will still have a lot, but if you can help me make this a COMPLETE product that would be great!

I am shooting for SPRING publication, so PLEASE HELP! All contributors will be mentioned.

e-mail me with ANY contributions at marc@garlasco.com

    Many thanks!
    Marc

Level 4 on the way to me for photos thanks to a member! All I need are 8, 10, 11 Acorns or shells - doesn't matter!

          Gents,

With Marc chased from the hobby I have bought his lanyard collection and have all the files for the article. It is finished and will be in the next issue of IMC:

More early shots - note these are PRE-PRODUCTION and will look much better once the editor gets them.

I can't thank you guys enough for doing this! Quite a needed contribution, as far as I'm concerned. That's a lot of effort and energy on your part. It's sincerely appreciated!

              Cheers

Thanks David, just read it too, talk about being hung out to dry because of a simple hobby ! Words fail me, I thought Hitler and the Nazi's were kaput in 1945, maybe I am just naive ! So what relics from the past should be destroyed, or not seen/talked about.... Stalin's era, Napoleon's golden age, Ghenghis Khan, the Dark Ages, maybe we just don't have history as a subject any more, or is it just to be the history of WW2 in Europe. Crazy !

Is there any electronic link to that article for us non-subscribers?
