It appears to me that all the insignia is bad. I don't have a good feel for the actual tunic very strongly either way, but there's a few things that I'd want to check out in hand for sure - some of the tailoring look sub par to me..

Hi Staffel,

As far as the tunic, I would agree that there are some things about it that would give many of us pause.

First of all, the breast eagle does not look original to the tunic based on the stitching. Second, there's been doctoring to the award beckets/holes to cover up/minimize some damage. Third, the collar tabs themselves seem off, not quite right.

I'm sure some of my peers will chime in with other feedback for you, but that's mine.

And by the way, we all have different collecting requirements. But at the very least you should know a piece's condition, adjustments and originality upfront before acquiring.
