Good LW Tabs - Repro Gulls?

I picked up this pair of Luftwaffe tabs - looks like someone took tabs with six missing gulls and converted them to ones with four gulls.

The question is - did they use original or repro gulls?

The third photo is of some gulls I have had for about 15 years - I was also wondering whether or not they were repros.

Forgot to post the back of the tabs.

So maybe I just bought myself an expensive set of gulls. What should I look for in an original set of collar tabs?

I could be wrong, it is hard to say for collar tabs if they are genuine I think. What I don't like is the cloth, but I like the buckram. I know that some collectors don't like the tabs with glue on the back, and yours don't seem to have, so maybe someone else will say they are original.
The gulls seem nice but I don't know what the best fakes look like. I've had false gulls and they couldn't fool anyone !

Here's an interesting photo that was recently sold on eBay.

My tabs were three gulls, now two gulls.

This guy's tabs were two gulls, now one gull.

You are right about this portrait, this guy was probably obergefreiter then he was promoted to unteroffizier by adding the tresse.
What branch are you looking for ? This Flak pair seems nice I think :
