Leutnant of Flight impression

Hi folks. I picked this mannequin up this weekend at an antique shop for a fair price. He's a good size and has a good soldierly look to him IMO.

I dressed him in this Leutnant of Flight Parade get-up. I've added a pair of modern 'Garrison' dress boots since I have yet to acquire a period pair of boots.

Excuse the bad pictures - My war room is under construction and I cannot take him outside to photograph him as I only have a side yard and the neighbors might not understand.

It's good to see this nice tunic again. It's funny to think that I was near to buy it.
I agree that contemporary civilian shirt and tie are sufficiant, no need to look for rare originals !

Adam, best look for a white civil pre-1945 shirt and black tie, it don't have to be a blaumeliert shirt!
