    Tropical pocket,

Picked this eagle on cut off pocket a long time ago.
Your honest opinions on its authenticity would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks, Gareth

Not A conventional LW tropical tunic pocket flap. These were normally straight cut. I'm not certain about the eagle but the flap may well resigns from the propeties related to the eagle in question?

and it looks to have been reapplied, IMO. Can you show the reverse as well? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Bought this in my early days could the eagle have a chance?

Definitely re-applied in my opinion. Almost looks like a "T Stitching" application which is out of the norm for luft tropical tunics. The cut of the pocket flap is a problem for me as well.

That's not a genuine tropical breast eagle.

Whoever made this also did not have the correct tension on their sewing machine, too much bottom bobbin tension. A trained machinist would not have made this mistake.
