There are a lot of rumors, but I never saw one in a collcetion or book (if I remember right9.
Now I would like to end this question.

    Thanks for your opinions.

    No ideas?

Did blue M43 tunics exist (no tailor made items, but serial)??

Are you referring to the wool M43 blouses or the lightweight HBT M43 style blouses?

I don't recall ever seeing one but I have seen LW blue Keilhose, M44 field blouses and M44 trousers. Perhaps someone else can comment otherwise.

Really? You have seen M43 Keilhose? Those were made to accompany the M43 tunic, from what I understand.

My only question then is why would the late war HG Div still use the Feldgrau M43 tunics?

IMHO to show their status as an armored unit.

Interesting!! That is something I never considered. A field gray M43 tunic to represent membership of an armored unit? I would expect a wrap of some sort for that. I am confused.

I would LOVE to see evidence of a feldblau M43 tunic(wool type).

                That´s exactly my question.

Yep, but never a LW blue M43 tunic. That doesn't mean they didn't exist though, just that I don't remember ever having seen one.

I have never seen a LW cut blue wrap (in person) either but some say they existed.

Interestingly, a member of this forum recently showed me a blue grey wrap in SS cut. Now that is an enigma.

It makes sense the the HG Panzer units would use an SS style of tunic. They also used SS camo and etc, right? I would love to see that wrap!! Is it still here?

Except for the fact that the photographic evidence emphatically supports that LW personnel wore wraps in the Heer pattern.

I will make the owner of the SS style wrap in blue grey aware of this thread should he wish to discuss it....
