Legion Condor Cuff Title & more-Opinions please??

I would like to refer you to the items for sale in the Insignia section of the E-Stand. It looks like a very nice grouping! I am interested in them but know so little of this particular cufftitle and it's construction, that I would like to garner some opinions.
The danger here, of course, is that someone will see this and it will slip away before I have a chance to get confirmatory opinions and then I end up with the short straw. But like many of you, my name isn't "Daddy Warbucks", so I need to confirm things before spending my harded earned bongo bucks!
    Here is the thread:

Opinions would be much appreciated and a little discussion on construction and materials used to make the cuff title. I have Winston's knowledge and permission to discuss this and maybe he could show a few more pages of the Flugbuch.
    Thank you ahead of time...

    Tim Alexander

Sure would like to hear some opinions here! Winston told me he would try to take photos of some more of the pages in the Flugbuch and post here.

I'll try one more time. Apparently people's knowledge of things related to the Spansih Civil War and the Legion Condor has diminished greatly. I guess the Spanish Crosses are an exception to the rule, but I wish there would be someone to pop out of the woodwork that could comment on these items for me.
          Have a good one!

            Tim,

Here's a link on Legion Condor cufftitle. They were both hand and machine stitched. Yours is no doubt machine stitched but whether its original or not I don't know. Never seen a backing like that before though. Just my opinion.

            Hope it helps.

There were also comemorative titles made for post war use. (w. german air force ) I believe i read that somewhere here on the forum before. I also don't feel comfortable with the backing either. I have several luft original titles, and they have either one or both of two different backings that are limited to the area where the name is located , and not seemingly as part of the material used to make the whole thing. You also have such dark shots, and obviously don't use a photo program to brighten them up, so its impossible to see if the inscriptions are parallel to the edge of the title itself. Sometimes if the writing drops at the end it isnt a good sign. I am not favorable to this one being original frankly. But that's just my opinion. I wouldn't add this one to my collection as a side note.

Just replying to your PM, I have an example of the officer's Legion Condor commemorative title. Here are some shots.

                  Best wishes

Here is the 'L' and I believe the backing cloth is typical but I do not know if variations exist.

                    Good luck
