Need Opinions on Child's Uniform...

I'm looking to purchase this, but am not 100% certain what it is. I'm being told its a uniform for children of Luftwaffe officers. Has anyone seen anything like this, and can you verify whether or not that is indeed what this is? Sorry for the poor photos, they're all I have...

Never seen nothing like this... but there's nothing that remind to a LW officer.

I've seen a lot of kids stuff, many were made at home by Mom, so half pint can look like Daddy. The uniforms I've seen were much more accurate. That does not even resemble a Luft. uniform except in color. It looks like a factory produced piece to resemble a military uniform, but nothing in particular. The hat is a quasi flight helmet, so maybe that's where they are getting the Luft. connection, plus buttons with winged props.

It actually looks closer to a KM uniform if it really is German.

In the US during WWII there were tons of kids uniforms, lots of aviators flying helmets in kid sizes, etc. They fairly resembled what branch of service they were supposed to represent. I've seen those buttons before, but just can't recall which country they belong to. It almost look more like a US manufactured piece.

IMO they do not match, the trousers have a male cut and the jacket is female cut.

For me even not WWII either... The features, cloth and linig, remind me to some post 1945 production.

Any marking under the buttons or on the zip closure?

These are all the photos I have so I really can't say regarding markings under the buttons or zipper. I've already decided to pass. I'm in agreement with you guys, there really isn't anything about this that puts it in the WWII period.
