Leather Channel pants / Leder Kanalhose

Hello first msg here (is there any presentation forum ?)

    It's sell here for Euros 298 !
    http://www.noble-house.eu/catalog/pr...products_id/83

I ordered one but had to send back, it was too big...
but i took a few photos of the item before returning the item

this one is a size L

I suggest if you buy one in order to wear it to take 2 sizes under the one would fit you normally as it is very large...
Such a pants is large but must be close the legs like the jacket close the body

I'm looking now for a 'normal' blue repro of that pant and the only one i've found is on a japanese website
    http://www.sams-militariya.com/SHOP/...otPantsLW.html

There is one very small photo, does it look a correct repro ??

If someonelse knows where i can find one, plz post here

Compared to the real thing the leather quality looks very cheap. I am glad you could return them.

The blue repro are also ugly. The cut looks like Jeans on which one would have sewn two front pockets.

The blue repro is in fact a SUMMER LIGHTWEIGHT reproduction version which is not oftenly seen according to the link below
              http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedi...channel-flying
I can't believe it's a fake as it seems it was sold as an original but it could

              > LUFTWAFFE PILOT LIGHTWEIGHT CHANNEL FLYING TROUSERS c.1943
              "Kanal" Flughose

A rarely seen summer version designed for fighter pilots flying over Western Europe.
              Guaranteed 100% original, unmessed with.
As seen in LUFTWAFFE VS. RAF, flying clothing of the air war 1939-1945 by Mick J. Prodger (Schiffer Publishing Ltd). Nice quality, blue-grey cotton unlined construction, late-war trousers, featuring canvas straps with steel rings for suspenders attachment, built in waist belts with aluminum buckles, side pockets, holster pocket for flare pistol, and front pockets with leather loops to secure specific items. No damage... These trousers are unissued , in close to mint condition, only showing a very few light and small rust stains, and slightly rust colored snaps from years of storage (this is light). The original buttons are present. All "RiRi" zips as new, and in fine working order with no missing part. The snaps (also in perfect working order) retain their original grey paint coating. A very rare item, especially in this condition... Of course listed with a realistic, however low, reserve price.
And a nice opportunity to complete a 1943-44 era fighter pilot set, making it historically correct:
Period pictures often show Luftwaffe fighter pilots wearing only the channel trousers, with a private purchase leather jacket.

The Background on this another link also mention a Summer Light version
              http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Luftw...s/L006763.html

So seems, we are far more used to see LEATHER and WARM/WINTER/HEATED channel trousers but a SUMMER LIGHT version had also existed
Seems also we can see that summer light version in the Schiffer book but i haven't got this one

Now i get that blue "ugly" repro just in order to see and it's very close for me to the photo upper, the initial photo were not good color, it's really blue-grey, i'll post some photos tomorrow

The so called "flight trousers" pictured on the link worthpoint are 100% fake. Not even close to an original pair.

Although fake they really aren't made to fool and look very presentable, especially since these will actually be worn

                    merci pierre,
let's say then it is the civilian version of the Kanalhose

I can understand collectors don't deal with fake but my goal is more to wear than collect.
The real Kanalhose is completely unwearable in life (you can just wear it in re-enact activity or on a moto)

On the same hand, we are not going to find anymore more 100% original items of WWII era in good conditions, they move mostly from collector to... another collector according to the prohibitive price...

for the worthpoint "kanalhose", could it be the czech version seen here, the two pockets are both the same size
