Hello Gentlemen,
Wonderful, original and relatively early fliegerbluse. I also agree that the straps were converted to slip on and were probably the originals sewn into the tunic. I have a similar tunic, but the soldier did just the opposite. I believe my tunic is '41 dated and the straps were slip ons and he converted it to an earlier looking sewn in! I guess every soldier has different tastes.
