I bought this cigarette case in an antique store a long time ago. Didnt pay too much for it. The clasp is marked Alpaka. The initials looked so much like the type seen periodically on daggers that I just couldnt pass it up in the long shot it was German and maybe WWII period. Art deco style and then the knights head logo or crest on the back. Probably wishful thinking, but does anyone recognize it? Thanks

This type of heraldic crest is probably the family coat of arms, and KM/MK his initials. Has it got any stamps/hallmarks on the inside? You can say when and where it was made from them, but if it just has numbers, ie. 900 or 925, its continental.

PS I would guess he was a knight and the familly had not inter-married with another noble familly.
