Very nice Jack. Why a Bf 110 specifically, I thought the KG 13 could be to either the 109 or 110...???

Hi Bob, the KG13A was used in a Bf109 G to K or a 110 G. It was sold in a lot with many instruments from a 110 G so that´s why I guess so. Of course the 109 was built in much larger numbers so statistically it could be from a "Gustav".

Andy and Werner, thanks for your kind comments!

Just for the fun of it, here a couple of Me-110 panels I'm playing with (a late D and a G).

                Woaaw Leroy.
My dream, to rebuilt a cockpit instruments panel.
Where did you found the back panel ?

The metal panel came from Europe (the fellow mistakenly thought it was a factory incomplete "C" model) and just needed surface cosmetic work. It's almost, but not quite, back together now with original avionics. The wooden "G" came from a friend in California who consults with the Smithsonian and the Air Force Museum and who made this directly from an original using correct laminated Finnish birch. It needs more work to finish. The "cooler" switches were used primarily in Ju-88's but can also be found in some 110's as acceptable replacements. I've been gathering the parts for years and years.

That stick is in great condition Jack.

As it is used in different aircrafts one can not say for sure where yours is coming from.

                    yours friendly

                      Thanks Eric-Jan!

You are of course right - the only lead is that it was found in a household together with instruments all matching a Bf110 G. I might be able to get some more informations about the former owner later - that would be great!

                      Cheers, Jack

Here´s the top area - all operating buttons work with a nice "feel" to them.

                          Hi there!
Very nice stuff! In incredible how ergonomic is, in comparison to the stick of the other belligerents... In fact nowdays the control culumn looks like more closely to the german one...

                          Compliments!
