especially SA-Sport and SA-Defense Badges -
I cannot remember seeing this insignia in this format before (though that might just be me), only metal, bullion embroidered or BeVo on a tan backing for a mayer cap, so an interesting item if original, sorry I cant help.

The detail to the acorns as well as other features are poorly executed. Maybe it's because of how it's photographed but I do not care for the symmetry shown in the first pic. If you bisected the emblem the left and right sides should be mirror images of each other, and while close I don't believe they are. I vote
