What are these luftwaffe cloth patches?

    Hi All,

What are these patches and what would be the approximate value?

    Thanks in advance!,

Thanks Nick! Any ideas of value? I would like to put them in the estand.

The bottom one goes for about 35 dollars. I do not know about the top one... it is really rare, but I do not know the collector's interest in it.

Were the school patches worn on a LW style uniform?

The "Auto & Technik MUSEUM SINSHEIM" has a mannequin dressed up in a LW trade school uniform.
If I remember correctly it was a standard LW 4 pocket tunic...I might have kept some images...I'll dig for them...
Here a fliegerbluse example that was posted on WAF about 6 years ago!

The propeller patch might be a graduation patch of some sort to be worn on a military uniform. That's my theory.
The triangular patch would be worn on a school provided uniform. See next post!

This example (a summer school uniform of some sort in tan) was posted by a fellow member in 2007, now repeated here for others to view...
Note Luftwaffe and kriegsmarine uniforms (I asume instructors).
The Kriegsmarine also sponsered similer schools for technical education.
