Early Luftwaffe Pith Eagle - Opinions Please

I assumed this example was an original two prong Luft Pith Eagle. However, I shared these photos with a fellow collector and this eagle's originality was questioned.

    Would appreciate opinions. Thanks.

It's lacking some detail, but personally I don't have any problems with this type.., even saw a ground dug example of this one. ( see last pic )
It's a stamped thin metal eagle, not the early quality buntmetal one.
This type has a swas with open space, another 2 prong type exists with closed space.

        Jos,

This piece lacks the details that i would like to see on the insignia. I cannot be certain if it is due to being worn or being a copy.

Thanks Mil - Here is another photo, not sure if it helps in determination or not.

Still think it's a good one, they were worn in many ways, on piths, visor caps, tropical caps .., it all depends if it saw some heavy duty or not.
These types aren't that detailed at first place, looks like some detail has disappeared at the leg and tail, sides of the wings.
Most fake pith eagles are cast, this one isn't.

Hi Jos. - Thanks for both your opinions on it.

Under magnification, the silver wash still remains in most low places and as you stated has significant wear in many of the high places.
