Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring's collar tab and shoulder boards

    Hello,

This tab is offered at House Of History (Kai Winkler) for 7500euro, do you guys think that is a good price? It is clearly a nice original tab.

But i was also wondering about the shoulder boards offered at Hermann Historica for 5000 euro, all one need to do is to place a bid. What's your thought's on them?

The tab looks like an original, and the boards look like they might stand a chance too. The value (price) is always in the eye of the beholder.

Thank you Richard! Regarding the boards, i do think these was offered by Helmut Weitze a while ago. He had for sure a set of HG shoulder boards like this, his price was around 19.000euro, and now you can buy them for 5000euro.

If you're right, this would not be a good new

Yes the price "dropped" a bit

Always wanted some of Göring's insignia, but if i'm going to get some i need to be 100% sure that it's not some super fakes. The Winkler tab was supposedly removed from one of Göring's uniform's at Karinhall, which is interesting.

              Hi,

I believe a single HG Tabs sold at one of the MAX shows a few years ago for about $10K. I have been told asking price for a pair of his tabs is about $20K to $25K. Although this is alot of money it is relatively cheap when compared to the asking price for a pair of Himmler's or Lutze's (SA Chief) tabs which were in the mid 30K range.

The tab that Kai has is good. I beleive he has been looking for another single to make a pair.

Since Karinhall was blown up after everything had been shipped out, I don't know if I would believe that particular story, Jon-Olav!

IMHO it is a lot of money, without any provenance. Was the insignia delivered to Herman G or just a sample that was never delivered. You can get a named general tunic for that price. I would consider to buy unless there is a strong connection between Hermann G and the insignia.

                  juat my opinion

That was the issue i was thinking about to Don
It was even blown up on direct command from Göring himself

the boards are certainly a matched set. Both look original but don't belong together, look at the eagles heads.....

                        The tabs sure looks good

I dont think the boards belong together either, besides the eagle heads as Patrick mentioned the braid does not look the same either.

The boards are look fanastic. Reichsmarshall is a such unique rank. Go for it!
