    Winter flight suit

I've asked many people from who made these type of flight suit. Has anyone seen anything like views (Pictures,Books). The fabric is made of thick blue velveton. The original zippers are brass (made from sweden). The style looks like German. What is your opinions to this type of flight suits.

Could it be Finnish? If it is on one of the mannequins in the above photo I believe the aircraft has Finnish makings - because of the swaz on the fuselage. And it might be of German manufacture since the Finns fought along the Germans against the Russians and possibly manufactured flight suits for their air force. Just a guess.

It´s possible, but sweden also had blue flight suits. Thanks for your opinion.

That's true, but is really too that almost all the period flight suit resemble each others. There was a sort of 'flying fashion' that was common enough also between other garnments and equipments...

        Cheers!

You have right. Many look similar with the slants zipp (see picture). The previous owner said it would be a DLV suit. The first Winterflightsuits have also two cargo pockets mounted on the front on the thighs ,but not four. Thanks for your opinion.
