While at stoneleigh militaria fair in january, I came accross this eagle i havent seen before . The dealer didnt know what it was either. Whats strange to me was the greenish edging to it.

anyone have any ideas what eagle it is ?

It is a late eagle which has not been fully trimmed. That edging can be see on numerous variations of eagles; from green to olive to blue to gray. The edging is to keep the fabric from fraying.

Tiger collectables has had if for several years. I have seen it at many shows. Thanks Willi for confirming what I thought I knew.

was it used on specific garments ? or was a general use eagle ?
