Hello, a nice setup and jacket. Dating these I have yet to see or hear of one with a year date earlier than 1944. I certainly cant say for sure there might be one dated 1943 or earlier. One just has to pour over all pics of these jackets and go with the date lifted. Does anyone out there have one with a date other than 1944 or 1945? Best, Bill

I haven't yet to see or hear of one with a year date earlier than 1944 too... All the label of the jacket (and trousers) I had the chance of handled, carried 1944 on. There's any period pic that can show the use of those before the '44?

The setup looks great, love the jacket. Full gear pilot mannequins look so great and combat ready with all the specialized equipment, and so many combinations are possible that make them even more atractive to the collector, my personal opinion of course!!

Looks as a '4', but is very difficult say it! Should be even a low number, as it is not the label that more common is possible to found on this jacket, always marked '44... but...
