Canvas Map

I've this double sided plastic map of London Docks & Chatham und Gravesend
German writing & dated 15th of Jull & September 1941.
Scale 1:100,000.
Size is 64 x 66cm.
If this is correct & not a fake, who would use it?

I don't know if this map is genuine but if it's the case, this kind of map where certainly used by night reco or bombers but did the germans used theirs bombers during the night as the UK did during the war ?

Would the colour have been advantagous to night flying?

Why would the map be made of plastic rather than paper?

Perhaps the answers are out there?

I own the map east of this one (connecting map) also showing the Thames river estuary (a road map to London!).
This map would be more valuable than mine as it shows London proper.

These are indeed genuine Luftwaffe night bomber maps with fluorescent characteristics in order to limit cockpit lighting and still have a good vision.
Perhaps that treatment is why these are printed on canvas.
Mine came out of Brussels where I lived in the 80's and the story I heard was that a bunch of these were found in the basement of a Brussels governmental building at that time
(stashed away in a chest and forgotten...) Obviously a Luftwaffe used building during the occupation.

Not sure on current value..I've had mine for 25+ years...
The folds are a bitch, impossible to remove...(maybe with steam? I never bothered messing with it...)
Mine is framed behind glass which presses against it, flattening the problem areas somewhat...

If someone supplies a 'ballpark' value, I'll place on the estrade in the next few days. It would look good behind glass - unusual colour, early war & prominent location.

As I've not the foggest idea of value (& perhaps others too), I've decided to place the Map on ebay later today - No reserve - Item # 190333344604.
