Hello All,
The Bundesluftwaffe tunic is FANTASTIC!
Would you mind posting some images of it to the Bundes forum? It is a most unusual construction (a hybrid of Dienstrock and Fliegerbluse). I am quiet certain that it will provoke a great deal of discussion amongst the BW collectors. To me, this type of tunic, as constructed, is indicative of it being a 'private purchase', ie. "tailored", item.
Are there any markings inside the internal pockets?
Cheers,
Hugh

I was wondering what provenance the Ace jackets have ?
For example the Becker tunic.., there were many Becker's during war plus the fact that everything written on the label is very clearly to read except for the name which is all faded out ..
Just a observation..
Also like to know what these dates in tunics mean, is it the the date of manufacturing or from promotion to that rank ?
Jos.

i always wondered to jos
cause i have a tunic thats was captured by a g.i. in 1945
but the dat in the jacket says 1944 and the jacket was found were it was fixed from an obvious wound.
any one knows
i think provenance is when its straight from family with a statement from the family or a picture were it is worn
