There's a crease across Muller's chest at the point the zip is pulled up to that is represented in the other photo. However, one point of interest to me is what looks like a white stamp in the lining. Any chance of a photo of that? Also, the knits (cuffs and waistband) look replaced at some point, possibly wartime. The standard knits colour on A-2 was a range of mid-browns and occasonally a russet red colour, not green.
I wasn't referring to the collar snaps being done up/undone in the photos. I'm literally talking about the shape of the collar, sleeves, etc. I'll drag into PhotoSHop and play around the with the contrast.

I'd like to see modern photos of the collar interior, label, close-ups of where the sleeve rank and white-of-the-eyes painted areas are/were, etc.

Cuff replacement with knits from a B-10/B-15 wouldn't be an uncommon occurence. However, the knits shown do not appear to be from either of these.

      Hi there!
Maybe I have lost something... but what's heppened to the 'white of te eyes' and lt ranks painted on the Muller's jacket? Excuse me in advance, if there's write somewhere in thread the fate of those...
Anyway, also by my side the jacket's doesn't look the same... Theres a heavy aging fold on the upper left breast on Muller's jacket, and the EK1 seems to me less high nowdays..
But is very difficult make a 100% expertise by the pages of web...

      Cheers!

Frank: earlier it was said the artwork was removed in the postwar years.

The blurred area on the left breast appears much further out from the zipper than where the eyes are on the wartime photo. Also, the EK1 appears much further away from center in the wartime photo.

          Hi there!

Thanks for the reply. I supposed something of that... Is a really pity if the war painting are erased from the jacket.. These could made of the jacket something of rare more than rare!!!
Is possible that Muller used two A2s in his combat duty?

Maybe, though I think it looks fine, albeit with replaced knits and lining, maybe other parts too. Previous posts already said the EK1 was moved about so I don't see anything to worry about, especially given the provenance detailed earlier.
