Discussion Required On Pilot Oxigen Mask

Hello! I'm currently offering for sale on estand a RESTORED german pilot oxigen mask.
Someone pointed out that my description is incorrect, because the HOSE is also a fake. What I can see for sure, even if I'm not an expert in pilots' gear, is that it's definitely not made of modern rubber.
Would thus appreciate, in order to avoid ANY trouble to any interested person, your help to mend any mistake by my side.
    THE SALE IS SUSPENDED, MEANWHILE.
    Thank you!

P.S. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK FOR MORE PICS: JUST POINT OUT WHAT AREA DO YOU NEED ME TO TAKE PICS OF!!!

The mask and hose are correct IMO..
I've seen other "grounddug" masks with a similar hose and it's seam.

The straps are reproduction, the BAL stamp is added and the springclamp is a reprodution too, except the bakelite part with the "crown" and the D-shaped part and the small block which holds the clamp.
So, the real parts are the mask which still has it's original strip of face leather, the hose and parts of the clamp.
The fake parts are the complete straps and the clamp.
I think the mask is in very good condition and the price is reasonable.

    Nice display item though.

I agree completely with Jos. I have also seen hoses with and w/o seams.

Sorry, but the hose is NOT original. ALL original Luftwaffe hoses were injection molded, so none of them had seams. This is true of wartime RAF hoses as well. This hose is a replacement.

          I think you're wrong..
I have seen 100% original and komplete German O2 mask with the seam.
I've also handled quite some grounddug masks straight from the source and they had hoses with seams..., all these were dated 1944.

I guess we'll forever disagree on this one. I have every mask from the simple mouthpiece to late war experimental types. I know a man who has seen the German molds. The hoses were seamless. Please show me a wartime period photo of a hose with a seam, then I'll change my mind.

Sorry, but Jos is absolutly right on this one....

The hose and mask are 100% original...

              I see IMO no problem....

You can only change your mind if you really want..

I'll show what I had...all gone now,..., several had a hose with a seam and they came untouched and un-cleaned..
Fightermask has a hose which shows the seam.

                Jos.

                    Couple of hoses..

All real stuff straight outoff the ground without added hoses.
