The Bf-109 tail shown, which is mine, has no holes (except for at the rear top where the rudder linkage was attached). You CAN see, however, where someone started to cut the swastika out, but gave up (probably hit one of the ribs underneath with the bayonet blade).

Here are some of mine, first up is a swastika from a unknown plane.Swastika measures 21" X 21",this was bought from the vet who brought it back.I asked him if he knew what type of plane it was from and he did not know,he cut it from a crashed plane in the woods near his camp after the war was over. The second piece was cut from a German glider, the vet wrote in pencil insignia cut from German Glider on the reverse.Jay Parisi

This piece has the soldiers name written on back, taken from a plane, 80th and 1944. Since it is on a thick material I am guessing it is from a glider.

I am putting this glider swastika on E-Stand. Here is your chance to own a very rare piece. It is as good as gold. I am buying a D bail M1 and need the money.

Some fantastic pieces here but that 109F Trop tail panel is something else! I've never seen one so complete before i.e. not just the swaz cut out.
