    Flight Helmet with Short Cord

This is already posted in another flight helmet/ goggle thread, but I also wanted to post it on it's own so the title would get the Luft. collectors attention.

Hopefully this will end the debate on short cord flight helmets.

    Regards,
    Mike

Maybe he's wearing his P.J.'s, who knows? Compare the hanger doors and glass in the background. One door is darker than the others.
The pic sure looks like a German LKp-N101 without the O2 attachment on top of head, schwimmveste and Bf-110.

          Mike

Hello, it appears to me he is wearing a Luft EM buckle, Im not aware of any other country wartime or postwar with a buckle setup like that. He maybe a Blackbird posing for this or a pilot wearing an elective Blackbird overall. Best, Bill

                    Hi Mike !

Thank you very much for the pictures !!!
                    Good job
You can clearly see the extension cord connected to the short comm.cord of the helmet.
I hope more pictures will show up now......

                    Regards,

                    Theo

Still no 100% proof IMO, while I've seen these long cables coming outoff a plane while they were checking radios or something..

what if a long cable hangs in a loop on his back ?
I think the ultimate pic would be a shot from behind where we can see a really short cable.
All pics sofar didn't give me the "that's a short one ! " feeling..
For some reason this pic should close the case, while I think we're still at the start. ( nice pic nevertheless)
With the material sofar it'll be very hard to convince my neighbor, even if we see 2 plugs connected over a shoulder.
The long cable comming from the plane isn't a extension cable IMO,but one as it should be.

                        Jos.

He decided to wear a life vest while working on the radio?
