    Hey Jos,

    Excuse my teasing.

Double security or, perhaps the stitching from the top of the cap went through the eagle backing?
    Regards,
    John

                        Bullion birds

                        Hi John,

Thought I'd share my sidecap / M-43 Luft. eagles.

Sounds like the dealer in question might be Pat Anthony, he's from N.C. area and has a excellent assorment of cloth insignia.

                        Cheers,
                        Howard

Hi Howard, thanks for posting your eagles. No, Not Patt. I've known Patt all my life so I would remember him. LOL! And yes, he is always loaded with insignia. The fellow in question was Walter, who had the eagle cut from an HG wrapper at the SOS. Walter knows his insignia!
                          Regards,

                            Hello John,

                            Patt's a great guy.

The Walter in queston would be Walter Dudgeon. I recall the HG cut eagle!
He always has super quality items. He's come a long way since I first dealt with him at a New Orleans Military show some 10 plus years ago! A first class dealer.

                            Best,
                            Howard

First class indeed Howard. Walter had three tables full of insignia, caps, medals, etc. at the SOS. EVERY single piece was authentic. Top shelf fellow!

                                John,

I'm jealous, my tables were down the aisle from Walt, and you didn't stop and say hello!

                                Maybe next time.

                                Cheers,
