    Visor cap needs help

Picked this visor for a good price due to crushing. Fantastic condition, no nips or cracking.

Does anyone sew these back to original or do I just deal with it?

Also, I was told the piping is for Luftwaffe Field Police....is this correct?

    Thoughts appreciated, Paul

The branch is Nachrichten, or Communications. There are people here who are good at repairs

Not yellow, more of a burnt orange. Color consistent with no fading noted.
Stored great except for the crushing.

Seems Ben is in London so that's out.

Any other recommendations on who can sew the visor back on as well as replace the sweatband?

                  Paul

                    Paul,

It's a nice example of a Nachrichten (Communications) visor as has already been stated and I'd be happy to reattach the visor for you if you'd permit me. Do you already have an original replacement sweatband for it? I'm located in Virginia so if you're interested send me a PM. You can check out some of my work at:

Appreciate the comments. Paul and I are in contact so we should be getting that guy on the road to recovery soon.

                          Stay safe and healthy.
