LW Summer gray blue Kanalhose

I recently got these LW summer Kanalhose. Overall they look good but with some wear and tear. There are also some stains on the outside of the material. How do you think I can improve their appearance and eliminate stains and dirt? Hand wash and dry clean or it can be left as is.
I thought maybe, some of you have come across this problem. Guys, what do you recommend?

They look fine as-is, and wouldn't attempt to clean them unless they smell or the stains are too ugly to leave. Maybe dab a small spot with a sponge an hand soap, and see what happens if you decide to clean it.

thanks a lot for the advice. The smell does not come from them. I would like to wash them completely by hand. But I am afraid that this way I can ruin the leather fittings.
The leather of the fitting is currently soft and in very good condition.

I think they are in the middle of the war or later. In the early version, all zippers are metal IMO.
