    Fallschirmjäger trousers (1944)

    Hi,

I would like to know if, during the Battle of Normandy, some Fallschirmjäger worn M43 trousers with Italian camouflage fabric?

Good question! To my knowledge, there is no picture that prove it. But it is quiet possible, in particular because they were many veterans of Italian front.

End of 1944 and 1945 in Italy you can see photos of FJs wearing such trousers. Possible, but have not seen it yet, in mid-1944, or the time of the Normandy campaign. So, for a FJ to have served in Italy and have such trousers, and then go to Normandy with them is pretty unlikely.
