    Leather flight pants

This is a picture from the Luftwaffe vs. RAF flight clothing book.

I'm curious on the rarity of the gray leather flight pants. I know that are late

war. Desireable? All comments are welcome.

    Thanks,
    Tony

They show up time to time but are not easy to find

The grey are rare, but in my opinion are the blue/green ones the rarest.

Such pants are desireably for many collectors. But many collectors lose their desire to buy them when they see the price.

These RV suits were often sewn from not given out KM jackets and trousers.
And it is proved here on the WAF (On a torn pants lining found a KM label). Therefore, we can sometimes see KM blue / green leather.

In 1944, there was apparently a shortage of raw materials IMO.

            Best regards,
            Sergey

Hi, those are my flight pants. I’ve owned them for along time. They are dated 1945 and more or less a bit more valuable in that 45 dated bayonets, P38s, VG1 rifles etc. made in the last few months of the War are more desirable. Best, Bill Bourque
