Question re. contents of Zünderdose Zugzünder 35

I'm trying to get everything to fill an original Zünderdose Zugzünder 35 - a box of ZZ35 fuses, but the most impossible item to obtain seems to be the original cord or string that was packed with the fuses. Can any of the experienced collectors here tell me the length and diameter of that string please, and what it was made of? Amazon does a natural Jute twine in 1mm, 2mm or 3mm diameters which looks like it might suit to make reproductions?

    Thanks!

No collectors here who might have one in their collection?

I have this cord in my collection that may be German fuse and mine related. I think it is too long and thick to be for a M24 stick grenade, but I won't claim to be an expert.

I picked this one up at one of the shows in Belgium from some Polish vendors a few years ago who always had an incredible amount of deactivated German ordnance and related items.

Unfortunately, I don't want to unravel it to determine the length since I'd likely never be able to get it correctly wrapped back.

I hope that maybe this helps and maybe will give you some ideas.

      Best Regards,

      Ben

In the end I used some 2mm cotton string, each about 1.5m in length.
