Rare box 2cm KWK38

Hi guys,

some days ago I got my hands on a box for 2cm KWK38. It is 100% genuine, came straight out of a barn. I have never seen this kind of box before. Unfortunately there are some of the grips missing, but they are standard and I am sure I will get some. Maybe someone here can help me ?


Is there someone which has got any informations about this kind of boxes. Maybe a second known one, maybe some original time pictures, maybe some pictures of the inlay ?

Never seen one of these but looks very nice. I imagine it is the transport chest for the weapon. What are the main dimensions? Shouldn't be difficult to complete if you can get a pic of a complete one.
