roll of WH powder cord?

Hi, got this one…..a roll of old black powder cord for ignition of many Things. I was told this is Type 1 of the Wehrmacht ignition cord, whatever that means.

I know the rubberised cord that is used with ANZ29 and similar.

Anybody seen this one before, or has Information?
