Who made Tellermines during WW2?

    Who made Tellermines during WW2?

    Until I [my sources in Russia] find an original, I have a Tellermine T Mi-35 replica. What I am wondering, is I have seen these weapons made in 1938 by HAGENUK, but what was their production code in let's say 1940 to 1944? Also I have seen these older Tellers with "WaA 491" I have tried looking this up with no luck. This is the place to find the facts. THANKS

    I believe HAGENUK was later "brd", although I have not seen them on T.mi.35's, only on S.Mi.35's.

    They were just one of many different T.Mi.35 manufacturers. As an example, here are the maker marks on three of mine.
    1) F.W.157
    2) HAG344
    3) F.W.157

      Thank You WWIIBuff, the HAGUNEK did make T.mi-35s, here [I hope] is a photo from 1938. Do you know what factory F.W. 157 was? Or the Waffenamt for either?

        FW157 is Fritz Weber & Co.

          Thanks Steve. That is what I have in my notes as well, but I am not sure where I got that information, probably from Klarkon.

          What was your source? Is there a list somewhere of pre-1940 manufacturer names before the codes started?

          I have a list of manufacturer codes I downloaded from the web, but nothing for the pre-1940 markings.

              I use the book German Secret Armament codes until 1945 Visier Edition by Micheal Heidler. It includes the pre 1940 codes and the later 1940 three letter codes along with cross referencing to manufactures by name. It also has LDO and RZM lists and cross referencing. Quite handy. I got a signed copy from him when he published it in 2016.

                    Well Steve, one big problem about that book... it is going for $235 & I have a son in college, one in trade school & one HS hockey & football.... adds up!
                    SO, if you have it in your heart... what were the production codes for HAGENUK & FW? [& WaffenAmts?] THANKS
