could you give me the difference between these two end of m24 grenade ?
On the one at the bottom, the classical cap doesn't fit without forcing

There are a few different types, not all are the same and interchangeable with each other.
common misconception when you but a M24 without the bottom cap.

If jeeeensy hasn't got a spare cap then no-one has!

However you answer your own question - just look at your photo and you can see the difference in pitch (angle) between the two threads, the lower being of a coarser pitch.

The most likely cap will fit is the earlier type zinc version,, this is larger that others and you eill get away with it on this thread, what year are the sticks 39/ 40 ?
