    Panzerfaust 100

    Hi Guys, First post here.

Recently I picked up what I thought was a panzerfaust 60, but the propellant screw is in the wrong location so it looks like its a panzerfaust 100.

I am looking for some advice on how to clean it up. I want to coat it in paraloid b72 dissolved in acetone

Here's some pics of it. The green tube with the sand colored sight tower and propellant screw in the "wrong" spot originally made me think I had a fake.

I think it's folded from different original components.

I think i'm going to start on the inside. My plan is to plug the pipe and fill it with vinegar. After the rust is eaten off i'll put a rust inhibiting primer and paint on the inside. I'm still looking at ways to stabilize the active rust on the outside without damaging the paint, if its even possible.

Or just treat it like a firearm and oil and brass brush it.

Don't use paraloid on painted items because it contains acetone and it can damage the paint.
