Wrong fuze for a flak round, should have a time fuze not a percussion fuze.

AndyD - wrong answer, FlaK used A.Z.23/28 fuze against the ground targets.

But in its main anti aircraft role it used a time fuze.

A bit of an update.. Turns out this fellow has 2 88 rounds one with a steel case and one with brass.

He also has a Kriegsmarine 105mm round. So he says. I have never heard of such a round.

I did some digging around and these 88 rounds are hard to find and if you do they are 1400-1600 each... ouch.

Still curious about the 105mm. I think the US had such a round but the German Navy too?

              What ships had them?

              Thanks for any info.

                  thanks klarkon

Not sure what I reading.. Im guessing they are much more popular than I thought.

Were they are Battleships? Cruisers? did I see a Uboat in there too?

Are they more rare than the 88s? Does anyone on the web have one for sale so I can see a reference photo?
