SD2 Butterfly bomb

Here are some pictures of one of my butterfly bombs that I am setting up for display. These are quite an interesting device. I have a yellow one that I am working on also. I will post some pictures when I get them hanging up.

I have one in my collection also.

Now that prices have levelled off a bit these are now in reach.

Collecting the different fuzes is also getting interesting. Some of the hard ones to find are starting to pop up.

I will take pics of mine & post later today.

Very nice. One of my favorite weapons of the war. Unfortunately I had to pay top dollar to get a couple of mine a few years ago before there were so many available on the market.

Thank you for encouraging comments Now just waiting for the right fuse for my yellow wings and bomb. It is version 1 bomb so not having much luck finding a threaded fuse instead of a bayonet style fuse. If you know where to find one in good condition let me know.
