Ammunition / Grenade Container

Hello

Should have some help with this ammunition container, I can not find any stamps or markings on it. But it is German found in the Narva area and is in a pretty good condition.
The height of the three containers is about 12.5 cm slightly larger. The diameter is 6.5 cm. The length of the bottom plate is 37 cm. Could it have been in a vehicle? In the area where it was found, there were vehicles workshops and various depots during the war.

I guess it might be easier to find the set complete than only the basket...
